What Proximatic adds to the evaluation
Proximatic connects event structure, assignments, signups, and attendance. With a connected, authenticated organizer agent, AI rostering can start from one message containing event notes, a people/email list, shifts, teams, availability, and supported rules. The web Create form still starts with an event brief and people already prepared in the organization. Assignments need approved eligible people and declared availability; new invitees must accept and verify their email.

Proximatic's core event creation, signups, shifts, Auto-Schedule, rosters, and attendance remain free. AI includes one AI-organized event free each UTC calendar month, then costs $2 for each of up to eight additional events. Participants never pay for AI.
Occurrences in the same Proximatic recurring series share one AI task identity during the current review. Review iterations before applying stay with that task; later AI work on an applied draft starts another task. Selecting several dates does not create a recurring series.
The price is shown before chargeable AI setup. In the web setup flow, a successful preparation charges before the plan is revealed; failed or empty preparation is not charged. The connected agent requires existing AI entitlement and sends the organizer to the web app when billing is needed. When SignUpGenius is the better fit
Keep the simpler workflow if your group only needs to claim a slot or bring an item, your existing reports answer the organizer's questions, and you do not need central assignment. Its documented repeating dates and duplication are also relevant if reuse is the main problem.
If tickets, custom questions, or waivers are essential, evaluate that product directly. Proximatic's core signup is not a general custom-question or waiver builder, and it is not a ticketing replacement.
Try the coordination job, not the feature checklist
Use a clearly labeled test event with willing testers. Open it on a phone, choose the second role, complete the account and approval steps, and check the confirmed assignment. Then test a full shift, an arrival, an early departure, and a missing checkout. Inspect the resulting roster and hours.
