Plan an event in chat
Use the Proximatic plugin in ChatGPT or Codex to preview an event plan, revise its shifts, and save the draft after reviewing it. Proximatic is a product of Proximal Coast LLC.
Connect your organization
Plugin access requires an existing Proximatic Pro subscription for your organization and a verified Proximatic account with the owner or admin role. Start the connection from ChatGPT or Codex, sign in to Proximatic, and review the organization and requested permissions before connecting.
Your Proximatic profile shows connection information under ChatGPT & Codex. Keep your password and connection credentials in the sign-in flow. If access expires, reconnect from the host and review the organization again.
Preview, revise, then approve the draft
- Describe the event name, date, start and end times, time zone, roles, and number of places for each role. Review any suggested details.
- Check the preview. Ask for changes to the roles, capacities, or shift times as needed. Each revision produces a new preview.
- Review the final plan and the connected organization's name. Give explicit approval to save that plan to that organization.
- Open the returned Proximatic event link. The event is a private draft with unassigned shifts.
A preview does not create an event. A successful save returns the actual draft link; retrying the same save returns the same draft.
Try an event plan
Plan a repair cafe for October 17, 2027, from 9 am to noon in America/New_York. We need two people on setup from 9 to 10 and three on repairs from 10 to noon. Show me the plan before saving anything.
For a revision, ask to change a specific role or shift time and review the updated plan before approving a save.
Continue organizing in Proximatic
Staffing, availability, publication, volunteer signups, participant messages, and attendance continue on the Proximatic website. The plugin creates the draft and its shifts. It does not assign people, publish events, send messages, or purchase subscriptions.
